हिन्दी अनुवाद – गर्मी बहुत थी। एक छोटी-सी चींटी बहुत प्यासी थी। वह नदी किनारे पानी पीने गई। चींटी पानी में गिर गई। वह चिल्लाई, “बचाओ! बचाओ!” एक फ़ाख्ता पेड़ पर बैठा था। उसने चींटी की चीख सुनी। फ़ाख्ते ने एक बड़ा पत्ता पानी में गिरा दिया। चींटी पत्ते पर चढ़ गई। पत्ता किनारे की ओर बहने लगा। इस प्रकार, चींटी बच गई।
