मातृ-भूमि, पितृ-सेवा हो अधिक प्यारी हमें।
देश में पदवी मिले निज देश हितकारी बनें।
कीजिए हम पर कृपा ऐसी हे परमात्मा।
मोह, मद, मत्सर रहित होवे हमारी आत्मा॥

निर्देश-

आज हम तुम्हें स्वस्थ रहने के कुछ नियम एवं जीवन के लिए उपयोगी बातें बताते हैं-

1. प्रातःकाल उठकर अपने से बड़ों को प्रणाम करो।
2. शौच जाकर फिर दातुन अथवा ब्रुश से दाँत साफ करने चाहिए।
3. फिर मल-मलकर नहाना चाहिए।
4. नहाने के बाद शरीर को मोटे कपड़े से पोंछना और फिर हल्का नाश्ता करना चाहिए।
5. इन सब कामों के बाद साफ़ कपड़े पहनकर विद्यालय जाना चाहिए तथा शाम को छुट्टी होने पर मैदान में खेलना चाहिए।
6. माता-पिता, गुरु और अतिथि का सदा आदर करो।
7. हाथ और पैर के नाखूनों को साफ़ रखो और सदा धूल से बचो।
8. खाना खूब चबा-चबाकर खाओ और सड़ी-गली चीज़ों को मत खाओ।
9. रात को जल्दी सोओ और प्रातः जल्दी उठो।
10. प्रत्येक सामान सँभालकर उचित स्थान पर रखो।
11. सभी काम मन लगाकर करो।
12. ‘सदा सत्य बोलो।
13. जीवों पर दया करो।
14. भूल होने पर तुरन्त क्षमा माँगो।
15. बिना पूछे किसी का कोई सामान न लो।
16. बातचीत करते समय बड़ों को ‘जी’, ‘आप’ और ‘श्रीमान’ आदि आदर सूचक शब्दों का प्रयोग करो।
17. दूसरों की बातचीत में (बीच में) न बोलो।।
18. सबकी भलाई का सदा ध्यान रखो।
19. घर तथा विद्यालय को साफ़, सुन्दर और व्यवस्थित रखो।
20. सड़क के बीच खड़े होकर बातचीत न करो।
21. रास्ते पर कूड़ा-करकट और फलों के छिलके न फेंको।
22. किसी के पूछने पर ठीक रास्ता बताओ।
23. सबके प्रति विनम्रता का व्यवहार करो।
24. सबसे मधुर वचन बोलो।
25. राष्ट्रगान और राष्ट्रध्वज का सदा आदर करो।
26. जो बच्चे इन नियमों का पालन करते हैं, वे कभी भी बीमार नहीं पड़ते हैं। वे सदा सुखी रहते हैं और उनकी आयु लम्बी होती है।
